S-Plus Entertainment denies abuse claims made by Jo Sung Mo

On February 21st, singer Jo Sung Mo’s agency, S-Plus Entertainment, denied all rumors of the singer reporting that he had been assaulted and verbally abused by his agency.

After being hit with a lawsuit by S-Plus earlier this week, representatives of Jo Sung Mo responded by claiming, “Around January of 2010, after Jo Sung Mo contracted with S-Plus, the CEO’s attitude suddenly changed. Him and his manager frequently assaulted and verbally abused him. April of that year, they forced him to sing for a drama OST whether he wanted to or not, and did not pay him for his work as well.”

A representative of S-Plus spoke with OSEN and clarified, “We examined Jo Sung Mo’s official statement, but the claims he made, such as assault, verbal abuse, swearing, and blackmail are all groundless. If there is any truth to uncover, it will be uncovered in court. S-Plus will be releasing our own official statement regarding his soon.”
