Who has the best nose amongst the girl group idols?

“Face Line Plastic Surgery” recently conducted a three-week-long survey on which female idol possessed the best nose amongst her peers. The survey asked “Which idol girl has the most “elegant” nose?” A total of 769 people took part, and an overwhelming amount 363 (47.2%) participants chose SNSD’s Yuri as the ‘queen of the elegant nose’. Brown Eyed Girl’s Ga-In came in second with 204 (26.5%) votes, and f(x)’s Sulli took third with 189 votes.

Face Line Plastic Surgery chairman Lee Jung Woo said, “Yuri’s milky skin, large eyes, and soft chin create a harmonious relationship with her defined nose, creating a overall balance of ‘desirable’ qualities“.

For Ga-In he reflected, “She has a clear and unique persona she developed with her sharp nose and V-line chin. With her powerful smoky make-up, she emphasizes her alluring facial features“.

The chairman continued, “Sulli’s baby-like skin and natural nose line gives her an innocent image like Jun Ji Hyun. There is a very relaxed and friendly charm to her“.

Do you think this survey is superficial or informative?

Kang-in enters military, bidding farewell to bandmates and fans

Super Junior member Kang-in entered the Korean army today, as part of fulfilling the country's mandatory two-year military services, with his bandmates and fans waving him off.

The members, save for Kibum and Hangeng who are currently taking a break from group activities, showed up at Nonsan training camp Monday afternoon to see Kang-in enter the military, and took turns hugging one another.

Leader Lee Teuk asked teary fans to support Kang-in, saying "Please support him by telling him to cheer up rather than shedding tears and feeling sad."

"I hope you will keep supporting Super Junior members even when I am not here," a teary Kang-in also said in turn.

"I will try to become a mature person on the inside and out. I will come back as a man who is worthy of being a member of Super Junior," he added.

Over four hundred fans, including some 50 from overseas including Japan and Hong Kong, appeared at Nonsan holding signs that read "You are an eternal superstar, our star", "We will be here waiting" and "We love you, Young-woon [Kang-in's real name]."

"We have no doubt that he will be more active in his career after he gets discharged from the military," the fans were quoted as saying. "We will pray that he stays healthy until he finishes his military duties."

Kang-in, whose real name is Kim Young-woon, is one of the 13 members of popular idol group Super Junior but he recently withdrew from group activities and did not take part in recording the band's latest album "BONAMANA."

He made headlines last October when he was caught drunk driving and fleeing the scene after colliding into two taxis. He turned himself into police several hours later, and was later summarily indicted with a fine of eight million won charged by the Seoul Central District Court.

The singer will receive five weeks of basic training at Nonsan and later be assigned to a military base, where he will serve for the next twenty months.

Female idols auction off hand prints for a good cause

I’m sure all of you have been dying to meet your favorite idols, maybe even hoping to touch their hands. Well, now you can make that dream into a reality. Well, kind of.

Recently, Sports Seoul and Gmarket have come together to auction off stars’ hand prints for charity.

Besides the fact that these hand prints are those of female idols (sorry fan girls, there are no male idol hand prints), these hand prints are no ordinary hand prints. As some of you may expect them to simply be inked hand prints on paper, on the contrary, they are cast in metal, making them less vulnerable to wear and tear–in other words, you can have your idols’ hand by your side for all eternity.

Although the auction began at 10AM on the 7th, it appears as if SNSD’s Yoona’s hand print is receiving the highest bid and most attention since it started. Following (in terms of highest bid) are KARA’s Goo Hara, Han Seung Yeon, and Nicole, solo artist IU, and Brown Eyed Girls‘ Ga-In. The auction will close on the 18th at 6PM and all proceeds will go towards the Children’s Foundation in Korea.

Is Ga-In dating Jo Kwon or not?

Brown Eyed Girls’ Ga-In once again avoided the question on whether or not she is dating 2AM’s Jo Kwon, her onscreen husband, leaving an open ended scenario.

On the HahaMong Show, she was asked to answer honestly as to whether or not she’s dating Jo Kwon.

She answered, “I’m so frustrated. If I say I am dating him, no one believes me and if I say I’m not, no one believes me. My parents don’t even believe me.”

MC Mong joked, “So let’s just leave it at that you guys are dating.”

Do you think she was just being honest or avoiding the question?
