Hangeng’s appointment in Guangzhou Children’s Palace was initially scheduled to start at 11am, but he was nowhere to be seen. Amongst the public’s anticipation, he arrived at 11.30am, wearing a set of grey suit, still as handsome despite coming late. Because of confidentiality, there were not many fans on the location.

During the appointment ceremony, Hangeng received from the minister of the Asian Games Organizing Committee, Mr Huanqing Wang, the “2010 Guangzhou Asian Games Volunteer Hall of Fame letter of appointment” and “2010 Guangzhou Asian Games Volunteer Registration Certificate”, officially becoming a member of the Asian Games Volunteer Hall of Fame. Then, he also wrote his benediction for the Asian Games on the Asian Games Volunteer celebrity board “Cheers for the Asian Games Volunteers”, and then making his handprint for the Asian Games Volunteer Hall of Fame. But, he gave a short speech in the appointment ceremony.

It is understood that since the establishment of “Guangzhou Asian Games Volunteer Hall of Fame”, it has attracted more than 100 celebrities.
