JYP Entertainment representative JungWook refutes allegations of mistreatment of girls in the States

It has been known that WonderGirls’ agency will handle the stand made by the WonderGirls’ ex English tutor of the mistreat against the girls.

According to a Korean English site on 11th May, the ex English tutor of the WonderGirls revealed that the girls are staying in quarters not recognised legally in the States, and they did not receive the medical insurance they needed.

With that, JYP Ent has revealed that the statements of the tutor are absurd, representative Jung Wook of JYP Entertainment said over a phone interview with Newsen, “WonderGirls are not kids who live without communications with the world, if they are mistreated, will they continue to promote?”

And about the ex-tutor’s statements, Jung representative voiced, “In the stand of the company, the treatment the girls received when they are feeling well are the best treatments they can get. The WonderGirls are not just secluded in the States, they will be back next week in Korea as top stars, do you think it makes sense if they are treated unwell?”

He added, “They are not just other groups, they are the WonderGirls. They are a group with their own position. If there is any problems with their health, do you think that they will not let the world know of it? The article is just malicious and ridiculous.”

And about the quarters of the girls in the States said to be illegally converted from an office, Jung rep said, “We are currently confirming with the officials in the States, but they told us that the girls also had their individual quarters.”

Another JYP representative revealed, “All this while, the girls have done endorsements and CFs after giving their consent. There was no case of the girls not doing because of threatenings. We do that sincerely for the girls. The statements released are just ridiculous.”

Meanwhile, JYP Entertainment is said to be still confirming details with the officials in the States, but they revealed that once details are confirmed they will take legal actions against the liability behind this happening.
