Cube Entertainment to hold showcase for new artists
Major Korean talent agency Cube Entertainment will host a showcase next month to highlight the recording artists of their company.
Cube announced in a press release that they will hold an event titled "2010 Summer Cube Stars Party" at the Fashion Center Event Hall on August 10.
The showcase will feature performances by boy band BEAST, girl group 4minute, songstress G.Na, rapper Mario and Ewha University Alumni member Oh Yeri, as well as current trainees at Cube.
The agency reported that 200 tickets for their artists' fan club members were sold out within a minute of going on sale.
Cube, founded by Hong Seung-sung, is in charge of discovering and managing the music careers of several top K-pop artists including Young-Ji and Eddie.
Many of their artists have pursued music careers in other Asian countries such as Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, Hong Kong, and Japan.
