JYJ performs in front of 5,000 fans for showcase in Taiwan

Korean boy band JYJ, composed of former TVXQ members Jaejoong, Yuchun and Junsu, were in Taipei over the weekend for the Taiwan leg of their worldwide showcase.

The group's publicist Prain Inc. on Monday revealed photographs of the group, who performed in front of about 5,000 fans, at their showcase in Taiwan held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center on October 30.

JYJ had kicked off their worldwide tour which started in Seoul in mid-October and will be visiting Shanghai next for their showcase on November 7.

They are also scheduled to perform in several cities in the United States including Hawaii, New York, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

The boys will then hold a concert under the name "JYJ Worldwide Concert in Seoul" at the Main Olympic Stadium in Jamsil for two days on November 27 and 28.

Jaejoon, Yuchun and Junsu made their debut in 2004 as part of the popular boy band TVXQ, but despite their phenomenal success in Asia, ceased their activities as a group after being involved in a legal dispute with the Korean agency SM Entertainment.

They returned as a trio, releasing their first album "The Beginning" which has topped various web-based music charts since going on sale on October 14.
